• BEYOND THE BASICS UNIQUE DECORATING IDEAS FOR EVERY ROOM.

In the kitchen, not one but two types of daring marbles take center stage. The Brownstone Boys (Barry Bordelon and Jordan Slocum) and Alex Allen Studio founder Alexandra B. have brought the rich history of the space to life (and the latest areas that needed some TLC). The team used one type of marble for the backsplash and another type for the countertops, combining contrasting tones for aesthetics. These simple decorating items and ideas for the simple home is unique and attractive. Celebrating the historic charm of this Crown Heights Brooklyn home was our priority while also incorporating unexpected colors and textures, but the kitchen marble is perhaps the best example of this.

We chose this stunning marble because it felt like a defining feature of the house. You can use these kinds of ideas anywhere. But the abundance of colors contrasts with the kitchen’s neutrals and has made it visually more interesting without detracting from the original flooring, woodwork, and fireplace. Overall look is good and decorating ideas is also nice.

Look down and you might miss the wonders above you—especially wallpapered ceilings. We love this modern image of wallpaper by Amber Guyton, founder of Blessed Little Bungalow, where the focal point is not the walls around you but the ceiling above. Although the application may take a bit more time, the effort is worth it. Use complementary color wallpaper to add contrast to your bedroom (or laundry room) or choose a color scheme with the ceiling that matches the rest of the space. The beautiful decorating ideas is used in the picture.

• BUDGET FRIENDLY DECORATING IDEAS THAT DONT SACRIFICE STYLE.

According to the Brownstone Boys, straight-lined furniture is out, and curved furniture is in. Curved furniture transforms traditional shapes in the living room and adds fluidity as it moves throughout the house. Designing are the living and dining spaces was an exciting challenge. We knew we wanted to convert the room between the kitchen and parlor floors into a lounge, so we had to move the dining area to the front of the house. To do this without closing off the room or making it feel cluttered, we focused the room’s furniture on a stunning original built-in patinated mirror, using round furniture to avoid any harsh lines or cut-offs that would disrupt the concept of open flow. To achieve this look, incorporate a curved upholstered bed frame or design your room around a round coffee table. These decorating ideas is amazing and unique.
